Governor Adeleke direct Osun Senators to support former Governor Oyetola’s nomination as Minister (See Video)
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke directed the three Senators representing Osun State in the Red Chamber, to give their total support to Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as a Ministerial Nominee.
This was disclosed by Senator Lere Oyewumi while addressing the senators during the appearance of Alhaji Oyetola for screening on Friday.
The Osun West Senator affirmed that, the governor told them to give their total support for Gboyega Oyetola as the next minister from Osun State, adding that they believe in him.
He noted that Osun is a young state that is yarning for development and it could come from anybody.
Also speaking, Senator Francis Fadahunsi, representing Osun East, said Adegboyega Oyetola is a democrat, a financial, insurance and management guru who brought to bear his private and public sectors experience on Osun .
The Senators from Osun, all of whom are of the Main Opposition Party Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, unanimously endorsed the nomination of the former governor.
After two out of the three Senators spoke, the former governor was asked to take a bow and go.
