Gov Adeleke Eulogizes Uniq FM as Radio Station Holds 13th Year Anniversary in Grand Style

The 13th Year Anniversary of Uniq 103.1 FM was held at Oba Adekunle Aromolaran Civic Centre, Ereja Square in Ilesa during the weekend with pomp and pageantry as Governor Ademola Adeleke described it as a pacesetting private-owned radio station in Osun State, whose intervention has made tremendous impact on Osun populace.

Governor Adeleke, who was represented by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi pinpointed that the transmitter of the station has good proximity coverage and a very wide reach for its audience.

Congratulating the station for subsisting over the years, and contributing to the state economy, while carrying out its duty as the fourth estate of the realm, he described their programmes as fantastic, current and apt.

Governor Ademola Adeleke at the Ara Station 13th year celebration,was presented “Award of Most Workers Friendly Governor”, alongside other distinguished awardees including the Ogunsua of Modadakeke, Oba Joseph Olubiyi Toriola, the Elegboro of Ijebu-Ijesa, Oba Moses Oluwafemi Agunsoye, Former House of Assembly Member representing Ilesa West State Constituency, Honourable Wale Adedoyin , Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Retired Bridagier General Bashir Adewinmbi among others.

The welfarism gestures of Governor Ademola Adeleke to Osun Civil Servants, such as prompt payment of salaries, payment of arrears, training and retraining of staff among others were also enunciated

The management of Uniq FM also announced the launch of Ara Foundation for service to humanity.

The General Manager and CEO of the Station, Otunba Jare Ayo Martins who made the announcement said this is part of efforts taken by the station to give back to the less privileged in the society.
