Vice President Kashim Shettima Showcases President Tinubu Administration’s Strategic Policies for Nigeria’s Development

Vice President Kashim Shettima has emphasized that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is implementing policies tailored to Nigeria’s unique needs.

(Office of The Vice President) said he stated this while speaking at the APC Professionals Forum’s Policy Roundtable Conference in Abuja.

Vice President Kashim Shettima who was represented by Dr. Aliyu Modibbo, highlighted the 8-point Renewed Hope Agenda which focuses on job creation, economic growth, food security, poverty eradication, access to capital, the rule of law, anti-corruption, and inclusive development.

Shettima noted significant investments in agriculture to boost local production and reduce import reliance.

He said the Renewed Hope Housing Scheme aims to address the housing deficit and stimulate economic growth.

The Vice President noted that the administration is also tackling unemployment with initiatives like the Outsource to Nigeria Initiative and investment in digital enterprises.

He maintained that Education is another priority, with the launch of a student loan scheme headed by Jim Ovia saying Efforts to enhance government transparency include the digitization of revenue collection are ongoing.

Despite necessary sacrifices, Shettima assured that these policies would lead to a brighter future, improved economic indicators, and a stronger Naira.

APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje praised Tinubu’s leadership and ongoing reforms, while Dr. Isa Yuguda highlighted successes in the oil sector, including reduced petrol imports and anticipated local refinery production.
