Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has committed to furthering good governance efforts to transform Osun State and meet the aspirations of its people.
A Statement by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed said the pledge followed his reception of the Governor of the Year and Good Governance Award for Infrastructure, presented at an event held at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
In his address to journalists , Governor Adeleke expressed that the honor reflected his relentless dedication to fulfilling his electoral promises.
He dedicated the award to God and the people of Osun, viewing it as both an acknowledgment of past efforts and a call to intensify future governance endeavors.
“As much as I am elated, I recognize that the work has just started,” Governor Adeleke remarked. “I am being challenged to surpass my own records. If within one and a half years we are this recognized, then I must tighten my belt to further surpass the standards our team has set.”
Governor Adeleke appreciated the recognition, particularly praising Pa Sam Amuka and the Vanguard team for their dedication to promoting good governance and excellence in public service.
He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Osun and achieving the goals outlined in his administration’s five-point agenda, aimed at taking the state to greater heights.
